Welcome to my world! I have baked 100% whole wheat bread frequently for 45 years and every once in a while it still flops. Don't get me started on my occasional failures with wild yeast starter sourdough. Fortunately I have two grown sons who will happily eat my disasters. Nothing goes to waste, at least, which I appreciate because baking is a lot of muss and fuss. I only do it because I like to eat.

Interesting . . .
Yikes! AND GO OILERS!
at least you gave it a go... normally pumpkin loaf would be yummy especially with cream cheese icing.
...but how does it taste?
I don’t believe in stink eyes for trying things. Good for you for trying. ❤️😊
They say that the only failure is in not trying, but I don't know if that is entirely true. Will you try again?

if the loaves are for your personal use and they taste good it doesn't matter what they look like.
With that being said, every time I've made a bread that doesn't rise it's usually because the dough was too wet.
Codex:
I add nuts so that I end up with biscotti.
It's not bad.
Go Oilers!
I will find another recipe and try try again.
Your world sounds wonderful.
Hmm. Thank you for this tip.
